I think the interview went pretty well. It helped me prepare to answer questions that might be difficult to answer. This interview also made me think about some of the questions that could be possibly asked at an interview.
I was given advice on how to improve my resume. This was helpful because I would rather have any mistakes corrected on my resume now to improve my chances of getting the job that I apply for.

Downtown Greenville
I went to downtown Greenville for the first time Friday night. It's a lot different from downtown Clemson. My friends, and I went to a restaurant called Sticky Fingers. I ordered a hamburger that was almost as big as the plate. It was really good though.
The bars located in downtown Greenville are more laid back compared to the bars in Clemson because they are not crowded with people. I was actually able to hear what someone said to me because it was not that loud in the bar. At triple T's I have to scream just to be heard by someone I'm talking to.
We also shot pool at a pool hall called the Corner Pocket.

It's Only A Matter Of Time
I started working on this rhyme Friday titled "It's Only A Matter Of Time". I finished the first verse to the song now all I have to do is come up with a chorus, and second verse. A friend of mine told me about this new website that promotes underground music called indiefeed.com. This website features some artists that I have never heard before it is good to know that there are more people that support the real hip hop. I spent most of my weekend hanging out with my friends, and trying to come up with new ideas for the song I am working on.

Resumes
Using a video camera to create a resume.
After reading this article I was surprised that this can be done. I did not realize that technology has become such a dominate form of communication in the world today. The article suggested that if someone does attempt to create a resume this way they should keep it simple, be honest, and express their creativity.
I thought this was the most creative way to create a resume because most people write their resumes. I will consider creating a resume this way because it's creative, and it will stand out from the other resumes.

Interviews
I had no idea that job interviews could be done over the phone. I have always had a face to face interview with someone when I applied for jobs. This is very helpful to know because I will try to prepare myself for interviews that are done over the phone. I will speak slowly, and clearly to make sure that what I say is understood.
I also did not know that an interview could take more than one day. When I applied to become a math tutor at USC-Lancaster that interview took about an hour because I was asked questions from the entire staff who would be supervising the work-study students. The article mentioned something about how some companies will have a dinner party, and invite the person there interviewing to see if that person will fit into there system. That is interesting because the person being interviewed would also be able to find out if that company is the right choice for them.

Ten Years From Now
Hopefully by this time in my life I would have gained the experience that I need to become a successful architect. I want to have my own architectural firm Mackey Inc. established. I would also like to be co-founder of the record label Dangerous Tempers.
For years my cousin, and I have been making music, and we are both unhappy about the current state of hiphop. We want to bring back the original artform of hiphop. For example the art of break-dancing, and rhyme writing. After my freshman year at USC-Lancaster I felt an urge to leave school, and pursue a career in music. I realized that by having a degree in architecture doors would be opened for me to better my chances of success.
By having the knowledge of how to design buildings I felt that I could give back to my neighborhood. For me to be true to myself I will have to continue writing lyrics to songs. I've always wanted to own my own business because I feel that when I'm told what to do I don't get the chance to express myself. By having my own architectural firm, and record label I would have the chance to express myself.
I would also like to be married, and have a couple of kids by this time in my life.

Web 2.0
The title represents how people across the globe have been connected to each other by the information shared. Web 2.0 affects people ready to enter the workforce because it forces people to know how to search for information using the web. For someone in the workforce already Web 2.0 could have affected them by requiring them to take a class on how to use the web. We need to rethink using the web for certain things. For example I've heard time after time on the news about someone who is the victim of identity theft because they purchased something from using a website. It seems that your privacy can easily be invaded. I've visited websites that wanted me to give my social security number, and other information to become a member of that site. I have never given that type of information over the internet.
